Welcome to Convex Travel. Established in 2003, we are a fully licensed travel company and proud to be 100% Australian owned. We offer a wide range of products for our specialised destinations.

All of our tours are specifically designed for Australian travellers seeking detail and quality. Each place and activity has been carefully selected for the unique experience it offers you. Our deep knowledge of these places guarantees that you will gain real insight into your chosen destinations. 

We like to ‘keep it simple’ by setting an all-inclusive price – no unexpected extra costs and unnecessary add-ons (which can really add up!). Value for your money is our top priority. Our experienced consultants can also arrange all connecting flights to any destination before and after your tour for the best price in the market.

For travellers who like their independence we do our utmost to offer  balanced, well thought-out itineraries that allow free time for you to do your own thing sometimes, as well as making sure that you see as much as possible of these beautiful and fascinating lands during your stay.

Our tours

From the first day of your tour to the last you will be able to relax and leave all the organising to us. In each place along the way you will stay at the best, well-located hotels available. A range of authentic cuisine in various traditional settings will be offered for your included meals. All admission fees, sightseeing charges, airport transfers and luggage-handling tips are included in our price.

The groups are carefully balanced to ensure a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and many lasting friendships have been formed on past tours. Our products are based on our constant attention to detail and the suggestions of our travellers – we are always open to new ideas or requests.

Safety is our first consideration at all times. We also pride ourselves on ensuring the comfort of every tour member. Seat allocation and luggage handling make the trip run smoothly, and all modes of transport are non-smoking. Tour buses are air-conditioned and operated by experienced drivers who are advised to observe a 100 km/hr maximum speed limit. Your tour guides have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you. Each has been trained and will follow all of our instructions to make sure every aspect of your trip is a success.

Tailor-made tours

We welcome all types of enquiries about tailor-made travel that most agents are unable to accommodate. We will help you create your own unique dream holiday and design it to fit into the number of days you have available.

You may need to know the best way to get to a destination in a certain amount of time; make an appointment to discuss these queries with one of our consultants. There is no destination in Greece and Turkey we cannot connect you to. Just say you would like to stay in a village in the middle of Turkey one day and be wandering around one of the famous Greek islands the next, we will find a way to make this possible.

If you are not 100% sure about every aspect of the itinerary you have planned, we can offer suggestions on tours, hiring a car or chartering a boat – or a combination of all of these. We will show you all the options and you can decide.  We want to ensure your custom-made holiday is everything you imagine.

We speak the language, so if we don’t have the answer to one of your requests straight away, we’ll call our local contacts over there to get it.

While we’re doing all of this, we’re keeping a close eye on your expenses. Whether you are looking for first-class or budget accommodation, we will find the right place to suit you. Our knowledge of many hotels in each of our specialised destinations enables us to recommend the best location available at any time for the most reasonable rates.

Flight arrangements

Today, flights can be booked on the internet, but it can be time consuming if you’re not a regular traveller to these destinations. We can offer you at least 100 different ways to get to Greece or Turkey from Australia.

Our expertise can save you money and time...

Purchasing a cheap international flight among the Earlybird fares and other specials on offer can prove to be costly if, later on, you’re unable to book the right flights on the right days for your travel within Europe or domestic flights for the countries you’re visiting, and need to make changes to your original ticket. Come to us before you book and we’ll give you advice about this, or we can package all of your flights for you so you’ll know the all-up price from the start. Tell us everywhere you want to go; we’ll work out the rest! And we’ll do it for the best-available fare.
